Two of Italy's big three trade union
federations, CGIL and UIL are to strike against the 2024 budget
bill from November 17, the associations said Thursday.
The November strike will be in central Italy while the north
will follow on November 24 and the south on December 1, they
said.
Sicily will strike on November 20 and Sardinia on November 27,
the federations said.
Transport and civil service workers will strike on one date
only, Friday November 17, in the whole of Italy.
The CGIL is Italy's biggest and most leftwing union while the
UIL is the third-biggest, behind CISL.
