Promoting sustainable companies through non-financial reporting and worker participation
The European Worker Participation Competence Centre (EWPCC) and the Research Department of the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) and Arbeit und Leben e.V. invite you to this workshop.
2-days workshop. The workshop will start on 29 January 2019 with a lunch and it will end with a lunch on 30 January 2019.
Background
This workshop is targeted at worker representatives (EWC and works councils members, board reps, etc.) and trade union officials. In the workshop, participants will hear about the background and theory of NFR and learn how to work with a new analytical to analyse Non-Financial Reports
Seminar Goals
- To learn about the regulations on non-financial reporting (NFR)
- To learn how to analyse non-financial reports
- To discuss how worker participation can deal with and use NFR
Seminar Audience
A maximum of 25 participants in this workshop will include a mix of worker representatives from the local and company level (including EWC members) and trade union officers from various sectors.
Working languages
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, German, French and Spanish.

Registration
Please apply for registration on-line at your earliest convenience and preferably by January 11, 2019.
Reimbursement of travel costs
All travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the European Worker Participation Fund for participants from member states of the European Union. You will be asked to organise your travel after receipt of your confirmation of registration.
Travel costs will be reimbursed on the basis of the most economic fare available (economy/APEX/PEX air fares) in accordance with European Commission regulations. If your ticket price will exceed 400 Euro, please contact us. Participants are asked to use public transport wherever possible. As a rule, taxis will not be reimbursed.
Hotel accommodation
All accommodation will be booked and prepaid by the ETUI according to your online registration request. Please note that the ETUI has budgeted one night per participant. We will confirm the name of the hotel at a later stage.
